Refund Policy

At FresherResume, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines when and how you can request a refund.

1. Pay-Per-Download Purchases

Eligible for Refund

  • You were unable to download your resume due to a technical error on our end
  • The downloaded file was corrupted or unreadable
  • You were charged multiple times for the same download

Not Eligible for Refund

  • You changed your mind after downloading the resume
  • You are unsatisfied with the content you entered (content is user-created)
  • The resume template looks different from what you expected — we recommend previewing before purchasing

2. Subscription Plans

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings
  • After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds for unused time in the current billing period

Refund Window

  • Within 7 days: If you purchased a subscription and have NOT used any premium features (downloads, AI credits), you are eligible for a full refund
  • After 7 days: Refunds are not available, but you can cancel to prevent future charges

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at support@fresherresume.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your registered email address and order/transaction ID
  3. Describe the reason for your refund request
  4. We will respond within 2 business days

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are credited to your original payment method
  • Bank processing times may vary (additional 3-5 business days)
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed

5. Free Features

FresherResume offers free features including resume creation, editing, and previewing. Since no payment is involved for free features, no refund applies. You can preview your complete resume before making any purchase.

6. Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate by emailing us at support@fresherresume.in with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. We will review your case within 5 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Purchases made before changes are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
